TEM solar power plant – investment in a green future
We are happy to announce that in September we have completed installation of TEM solar power plant.
Our contractor GEN-I Sonce has installed more than 1,000 solar panels of Slovenian manufacturer on approx. 3,000m2 of our production facilities’ roof. The nominal power of the power plant is 285kW, which will annually produce around 285 MWh of electricity. This way we will be able to cover about a fifth of our electrical energy needs.
With the latest investment in sustainable and environmentally friendly energy, we will reduce our carbon footprint by 150,000kg annually.
TEM MSE solar plant installation project was partly co-financed by the European Cohesion Funds.
We will continue to invest in renewable energy sources, strive for sustainable development and invest in a cleaner future.
